George Nichols, President and CEO

George is responsible for overall company leadership, finance, and business development. Mr. Nichols brings over 18 years of executive leadership in the technology industry. His career includes executive level operational responsibility, strategy, sales, business and corporate development positions.

Mr. Nichols was Group Vice president for Dialogic Communications from 2000 to 2006. Dialogic Communications was a provider of hosted critical messaging systems. At Dialogic, George held roles that included: responsibility for the all aspects of a new subsidiary of the company, the Microsoft investment, business and corporate development, channel program and partnerships, and related sales and marketing efforts. Dialogic grew from a $4.5mm to $21mm operating company which was acquired in late 2006 by Plant CML, a Golden Gate Capital portfolio company.

Mr. Nichols holds a BA from St. Lawrence University

Greg Arnette, Founder and CTO
Greg is responsible for product vision, technical innovation, and engineering leadership. He has been a messaging, collaboration, Internet, and networking expert for over 15 years, and has been consulted by leading corporations on the management and administration of email systems. Mr. Arnette has created messaging products and services for over ten years, starting with AlertWare which was acquired by Netpro, and most recently IntelliReach, which was acquired by Infocrossing in May 2006.

Greg has designed leading messaging system solutions for all communication platforms.

Greg was founder and CTO for IntelliReach Corporation from 1998 to 2006. Intellireach Corporation was a pioneer in integrated messaging management products and services. Since 2006 Greg has been developing web-based information management solutions leveraging open source technology with virtualization infrastructure.

Mr. Arnette has a BA/BS from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
Jeff Richards, VP Sales and Business Development
Jeff is responsible for Sonian's overall Sales and Business Development efforts. Mr. Richards has over 8 years of experience in the messaging, collaboration, and compliance space.

Prior to joining Sonian, Jeff was responsible for Sales and Business Development at IntelliReach Corporation where he helped the company grow to an industry leader in integrated messaging management. Jeff continued these efforts at Infocrossing following their acquisition of IntelliReach in 2006. Mr. Richards brings a wealth of knowledge of the messaging industry and a dynamic energy to the Sonian Management Team.

Mr. Richards has a BS from Bentley College.
Chris Heidelberger, Nexaweb David Cancel, Compete.com and Lookery.com Saqib Syed
Mr. Heidelberger brings more than 20 years of general management experience in enterprise software. Prior to leading Nexaweb, Chris was CEO and president of ChannelWave Software. He led this company from its inception through $63 M venture capital funding and several acquisitions and sold the company to Click Commerce in February, 2005. Mr. Cancel has more than 10 years of experience in information technology management.
He oversees Compete's overall technology strategy, from the design of its patent-pending architecture to the investigation and implementation of new technologies. Prior to co-founding Compete, Mr. Cancel was Vice President of Technology and Chief Technology Officer at BuyerZone.
Saqib has over 15 years of experience in product development, marketing, business/corporate development, and sales. Prior to founding PredictSoft, Saqib served in various executive positions at CA and BMC most notably as the VP of Strategy and Business Development for the Enteprise Systems Management Business Unit at CA where he helped grow the business at twice the market growth rate for 2 consecutive years.
Mark Nielsen Peter Karlson
Mr. Nielsen brings more than 14 years of Messaging and Enterprise Architecture experience in the marketing services and education sectors including roles in architecture, engineering, training, consulting, and software development.
Mark is an active member of the Gartner Best Practice Council for Architecture and Planning, currently specializing in the new challenges of management of information and delivering information as a service.
Mr. Karlson is a leader in SMB IT management issues, consults for a range of organizations on how to maximize IT budgets, and hosts a weekly radio technology broadcast.Peter advises Sonian on channel development and the SMB IT needs.
